31st Annual NRHA Rural Health Conference - May 7-10, 2008, New Orleans, LA
The 31st Annual NRHA Rural Health Conference will be held in New Orleans, LA. The goal of this year's program is to educate attendees in the following areas: health professions (recruitment and retention), emerging health technology and telemedicine, best practices in rural clinical practice, health care policy and its effect on rural providers, health care system change, management, rural health research, and rural health disaster planning. Participants will be provided information and instruction on a variety of tools that are necessary to develop model and innovative programs and practices. The conference will also provide information and instruction on a variety of subjects to interest all rural health practitioners, hospital administrators, clinic directors, state and federal rural health workers, academics, community members, and others interested in rural health care. Rural and Frontier EMS Summit at the Lake – May 20 - 24, 2008, Coeur d’ Alene, ID
The Critical Illness and Trauma Foundation will be hosting the Rural and Frontier EMS and Trauma Summit at the Coeur d'Alene Resort in Idaho from May 20 – 24, 2008. The Summit at the Lake will build on the successes of the inaugural Rural and Frontier EMS Summit at the Summit held in 2006 in Big Sky MT. The Summit at the Lake will review recent developments and highlight future opportunities for rural and frontier EMS and trauma systems. This meeting is of particular importance to federal, state and agency level decision makers and service managers. Registration: A reduced registration fee of $200
is being offered for any registration received by April 25. After that date, the standard registration fee will be $250. The registration fee includes the opening vendor show and reception, all sessions and several meals.

NASEMSO Mid-Year Meeting - June 24-25, 2008, Bethesda, MD
